My first step is to introduce about the eboostr…….

So the anwer for all that is YES…. You can use a pendrive as a ram..

You can speed up your computer without a another supported ram using pendrive..as a supporting ram…

The answer is that using the EBOOSTR……

INTRODUCTION:

The eboostr is the software which can allocate the space of your required choice into a ram of that size….

The only thing is that the pendrive will be designed as RAM….which can support both DDR-1 & 2.

The ram can be of your required bytes,,,,,you can select the bytes.(GB,MB,etc..).

REQUIRED STEPS TO BE TAKEN :

1) DOWNLOAD THE EBOOSTR FROM THE WEBSITE OR LINKS GIVE BELOW.

2) COPY THAT INTO YOUR PENDRIVE WHICH IS GOING TO BE USED AS A RAM.

3) NOW INITIATE THE E-BOOSTR AND SELECT THE DESTINATION AS YOUR PENDRIVE.(INSTALL IN YOUR PENDRIVE)

*REBOOT THE COMPUTER WHEN THE COMPUTER ASKS YOU TO DO SO..

4) NOW AFTER THEN,INITIATE THE EBOOSTR CP(CONTROL PANEL) ,WHICH IS LOCATED IN THE PENDRIVE WHICH U INSTALLED IN IT.

*YOU CAN SEE A CLOCK WITH THE DIAL ROTATING IN YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN,AT THE EDGE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER IT INDICATES THE E-BOOSTR CP

5) NOW ALLOCATE,BUILD CATCH OF YOUR REQUIRED SIZE IN THE CONTROL PANEL OF E-BOOSTR AND THE CATCHE WILL BE BUILD IN MINUTES.

6) NOW AFTER THE CATCHE IS BUILD SELECT THE PENDRIVE IN THE EBOOSTR CP AND SELECT AGAIN THE BUILD CATCHE .

7) YOU CAN SEE THE RANDOM SPEED WITH WHICH IT FUNCTIONS.

8) REBOOT THE COMPUTER AFTER THEN WOTHOUT REMOVING THE PENDRIVE.

9) THEN THE REMAINIG STEPS ARE THE ONE WHICH HAS TO BE CHANGED IN THE OTHER FILES,AND THE STEPS ARE::

Here is what you have to do :

1) Open the regedit tool (Start -> Run -> regedit.exe )

2) Use the navigation in the left and go to HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management

3) Double click the DisablePagingExecutive attribute, and put 1 in the decimal value field
This will make the drivers and the XP kernel run in memory.

4) Double click the LargeSystemCache attribute, and put 1 in the decimal value field
This will improve performance of the kernel

5) Double click the IOPageLockLimit attribute. On some later versions of windows XP that doesn’t exists, so if this is the case you’re done. Otherwise you have to put to the hex value : 4000 for pcs with 128 mb ram, 10000 for 256 mb ram and if you have more put 40000. This value specifies how many bytes can be used for I/O operations in your system.

Now the important steps to be taken is that:

PRECAUTIONS:

1) Reboot the computer whenever the computer says to do so…

2) Don’t take the pendrive in the middle without using the safely remove steps.

3) Whenever the pendrive is fixed the computer should be restarted(rebooted).

4) The building of the catche is important.

5) The pendrive should not be removed from the computer.

6) You can’t see a change in the ram size in the comtrol panel of the my computer but you can experience the change in the speed of the computer.

7) The system should be restarted after the fixing of the pendrive so that the cp initiates with the catch speed.

8) You have to see the eboostr cp in bottom right corner if the screen.

These are the steps to be taken for the usage of the pendrive as a ram.

*The ram size can be extended upto your required size.

*During the first time launch you can face problems in initiation, but then after you can solve it and experince the speed of your computer

By this way you can create a ram, utilise by your wish…
